RECORDING INFORMATION
Choirs, Ensembles and Soloists.
In the case of a solo vocalist or instrumentalist wishing to record two or three tracks as a demo CD, this can normally be carried out over a morning, afternoon or evening session provided the pieces have been well rehearsed. .
With choirs or solo singers requiring more extensive recording sessions, a full days recoding is necessary to allow time between track recordings for resting the voice.
Jazz and Brass Bands.
These sessions can be more complex due to the number of instruments. At least a full days recording would be required.
School Recordings.
Recording sessions for local schools are provided at a substantial discount in order to provide the opportunity for the pupils to receive a CD of themselves singing or playing an instrument. The best time to make these recordings is when the band, choir or soloist is well rehearsed either before or after an annual concert or competition. We offer a substantial discount to schools.
Charities.
If your charity wishes to make a CD to raise funds please make contact to discuss your recording requirements. Again, we offer a substantial discount on the cost of recording sessions.
All raw digital files of recorded tracks are stored and archived as mechanical copyright of dB Sound Recording.
